You guys are really good! I like your idea SOOOO much that I have shed the traditional php editor and a ftp client, as I can do a lot more and much easily in PHP “Anywhere” – Truly the best name this project could get !
My Kudos to the team behind this great project!
Kind Regards,
Amjad

Hello,
I’ve been using phpanywhere just for some weeks now, but I fell in love with it. My only problem is, that since the version-upgrade firefox always crashes on opening a document (first the empty grey textarea loads, but in the moment the code data is loaded into that field it crashes). But this bug only occures on linux (right now I just tested ubuntu), but not running firefox on windows.
I already filed a bug report ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/391378 ) but maybe you have an solution to that problem.

Its great actually. But i wonder why i can’t create folder without creating it in ftp site. I mean, you know, I wanna stored my php file there. Just some like that. I think i need it for a reason to save my file on phpanywhere server in case my ftp site is down. Or i wanna test some script other script that I don’t need to store in ftp?
Well, I think (if you think my request is acceptable), here the list of feature what i want.
- local repositories on phpanywhere server.
- CVS/SVN?
- Execute php script. So I can run my single php file from the server.
- A window to store all function and all variabel i’ve created on the php file.
- Syntax highlight option? I think people like to customize their IDE syntax highlight.
- Export the code to html file? So i can use it in blog without any syntax highlight plugin?
- And how about to add php desktop library? Such as PHP-GTK? And I can have the preview for the script?
Argh.. Thats just a request, can be accepted and sure can be rejected.
Good luck phpAnyWhere team. I’ going to hear the update again.

Hi,
I was wondering if you were still looking for team members? I have experience in (X)HTML, CSS, JS (ExtJS, YUI, jQuery, ..) and PHP.

@Amjad THX a bunch! we do our best!
@achi hmmm there has been a similar problem on Windows with people that whet from FF 3.5 BETA the upgraded to Final. Try another Linux computer or try uninstalling FF and then installing it again fresh.
